Rocky_Latic
They're still at League 2 prices of a couple of years ago. Even when most league 2 clubs have since upped prices to be similar to Latics. Has to be one of the cheapest grounds to get into in the football league surely? Do they still drag a bull round the pitch before every home game?
jsslatic
Terrace for me, but I withdraw my comments about Hereford being the equivalent of Forest away. I stand by mine on Scunthorpe.
Diego_Sideburns
Do they still drag a bull round the pitch before every home game? I think it's only for big cup-ties at home. The last reference to the parading of the bull I can find is in 2002 when 'Lower Hope Rembrandt', a pedigree Hereford bull was paraded around the pitch in ritualistic fashion. Back in 1995 Alan Sugar refused to allow Hereford to parade their bull at White Hart Lane before a cup-tie, on the grounds that it might run amok. To prove him wrong, Graham Turner and his fellow directors promptly ushered their bull into the local china shop. Although several thousands pounds worth of crockery miraculously escaped damage, the poor bewildered beast caused a major civic incident by emptying its bowels in the Wedgwood section. Another of their traditions was ten minutes before kick-off about a dozen supporters knelt on the Edgar Street pitch to pay homage to a root vegetable with these words: "We pray to you, Oh you noble swede to help us in our hour of need." Then they hoofed it into the Meadow End goal which Ronnie Radford made famous. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oibWCiY1bQ8
