We had to walk down Stansfiled Steet, up Featherstall Road, along Rochdale Road past the Queens and back down the street to let in the New Year. Happy days! (London's no fun at New Year - everyone's freezing their knackers off trying to find somewhere to watch the fireworks, then struggling to get on a tube home, or the alternative is paying £15 to get into your local and being charged more for the drinks while trying to extricate yourself from a stranger's armpit.)
