Diego_Sideburns Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 He says we can play a key part in trying to get a positive result at 'uddersfield. He wants us to be vocal and get right behind the team tomorrow. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsU...1506592,00.html
nava Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 i think after a lot of there wil be no problem with vocals tomorrow should be a cracking day tomorrow and a win will definitly be welcome.
ste1987 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Hopefully a good performance and result will make the date enjoyable for everyone attending! Can't go myself. Bloody part time jobs on saturday should be abolished!

Diego_Sideburns Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 Singing is in order. I would not recommend Ibuleve fror a singing throat. These are what you need.
TheBigDog Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I would not recommend Ibuleve fror a singing throat. These are what you need. Question is - how many tics will be there? Looking like 2,500 plus at the moment - noisy I think
Guest sheridans_world Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Question is - how many tics will be there? Looking like 2,500 plus at the moment - noisy I think Well we had 2600 tickets, say 100 pay on the day, thats 2700 (amazing this maths thing), it'll be noisy!
jorvik_latic Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Question is - how many tics will be there? Looking like 2,500 plus at the moment - noisy I think Well considering the club has sold 2600, other people have bought from the Hudds TO and people are paying on the day- I'd reckon a few more than that.
edhunteruk Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Well we had 2600 tickets, say 100 pay on the day, thats 2700 (amazing this maths thing), it'll be noisy! i think there could be a lot more pay on the day,if people have rung up like i did, plus with word going round on here.....the official figure will be 2,600 from the uddersfield site, when we will know the truth....its out there...
stebuzz Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 We made a lot of noise alright. but to no effect apparently, please note this mr. sheridan.
edhunteruk Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 but to no effect apparently, please note this mr. sheridan. yes we certainly did do our bit....the chanting and singing today was fantastic....i even heard a few mutterings from home fans on the way out saying its always a better atmosphere when the away end is full.... big credit to everyone who went and made the noise.......we did our bit, just a shame the team couldnt do theres.
kellys_discopants Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 but to no effect apparently, please note this mr. sheridan. We got a point ... at a tough place to go to really. We didnt play well but it was a hard-faught point.
LaticsPete Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 we did our bit, just a shame the team couldnt do theres. Tell that to rubes , gregan, fleming, allot, byfield.....
Alec1954 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Well, my first away game after reading on this board about how good we are away as opposed to at home. Well we were cr@p. Apart from Allots goal, we never really did anything. Huddersfield battered us in the first half and afterwards we barely showed. Taylor and Hughes unsold themselves. So much for away performances. Maher is rubbish. Manager is worse. Truth hurts.
kellys_discopants Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 So much for away performances. Like you said ... first away game of the season.
Diego_Sideburns Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 Taylor and Hughes unsold themselves. They certainly did, and that's the fourth consecutive game Taylor has done it.
