palmer1
according to some of the red tops this morning, dean windass has been told he could leave hull this transfer window, hartlepool are said to be interested. i know some dont like him because he acted like a dick a few years ago when playing against us, but he will score goals at this level for anyone. if hughes is going to leave, what about windass maybe just until the end of the season to continue the promotion push? kellys_discopants
He`d want to much ££ plus it`ll take him a while to get match fit, hes hardly played at all this year.

I doubt he's on the £18k/week we would free up if we sole Hughes for £400k, and he hasn't exactly been fit this side of the Millenium. Still a prize tosser though. razza699
Yes just heard this on five live. Oldham, Leeds and Hartlepool insterested! Windass on a Hull fan site I admits openly that he would love nothing more than to play for oldham if the price was right however the wage bill seems to be holding Oldham athletic back from holding talks with the striker Edited January 6, 2009 by razza699
real
Windass played with an ex-latic(youth, no senior apps) at Hull and is godfather to his child. I'd have him here, hasn't he played for hull recently in the prem? last few weeks?
stebuzz
It would have to be specially made...for the fat Yorkshire ba****d the pig farmer playing for us never. besides he would have to keep going back when his false teeth felt out. ritchie82
I'd risk permanent injury and carry him here. Just what we would need. I'm pretty sure he will be fit enough for league 1 football as he's been pressing to get into Hull's side.

jsslatic
Think this is a case of bad timing for us really. Would love him to come...but there's no way we could bring him here with a big Hughes contract in the pipeline. If/when Hughesy goes we can bring someone else in, but until then we've committed ourselves to a potential big wage and can't afford someone else. I wish he'd make his mind up, one way or the other so we can set about finding a replacement if needs be. Especially if we don't have a game on Saturday...gives us a week and a half to bring someone in.
jonnyl@tic
Would love to see Windass here for the season but can't see it unless either Hughes or Davies move wages would not allow it.. Hartlepool!! just in time for Saturday
Lags
We should have took Windass 5/6 years ago when it appeared no one major wanted to take a shot at him. Hate to say this but I said it then.
