RoytonBlueLad
1. Fitz 2. Armstrong 3. Shez Fitz was just too cool. Stam dreams of being able to hit cross field balls like Fitz can. Armstrong was brilliant. Highlight for me being marking Joe Cole out of the League Cup game at Upton Park. Shez. Well, he was just Shez wasn't he Could go on with honourable mentions for Clint Hill, who in less than 25 games was just fantastic, Pogs, Eyresy and Dux. wozz_oafc
Is this talent wise or just our own random favorite players? Mine could be: Fitz Wellens Porter But to be fair over the last 10 years we have had some very good players shame they couldnt all be in a squad together. Murray, Dux, Armstrong, Gregan, Taylor, JJ, Stam, Eyres and many many more could also be up there. Tasmanian_Devil
1) Fitz Hall 2) Paul Murray 3) David Eyres Fitz's timing in tackles was amazing and the number of times he would make last ditch recovery tackles after f*** ups by other players was superb. Definitely why Pogs broke the clean sheet record. When Murray was on his game it was like there were 2 of him on the pitch. He covered every blade of grass. Eyresy is just a ledgend. I can't believe he didn't have a long career playing in the top flight.

singe
Eyresy Beckett (first mention? Shame on you all) Fitz. I have to say Mr C, your nomination was the one I was looking forward to seeing ! Nothing sinister, just you don't seem very happy with any player at the club at the moment, and it's arguably the second best team in that time..! I've not enjoyed this promotion push compared to the one under Dowie (when I thought we were unbeatable at times) and the first under Shez. I don't think anyone from this team would get in my top ten.

leeslover
Eyresy Beckett (first mention? Shame on you all) Fitz. No shame here! I’d honestly not put Beckett above Clyde, Porter or Hughes as a striker. Super Scotty Vernon has had some success at a higher level than he did. Ricketts is better too
