youngen
Sat in the main stand tongiht Maybe they had arranged a rendezvous away from the ladies in a location where they thought not many people would be. If they were scouting Eardley or Taylor they picked a good night for us as they wont be signing any after tonight.

Guest sheridans_world
I think it might be Blackpool and Wolves, but I'm not too sure, maybe someone can confirm that for me

Guest sheridans_world
Means nothing, there is between 10 and 15 scouts at every game at the moment.
RoytonBlueLad
Means nothing, there is between 10 and 15 scouts at every game at the moment. I wouldn't say it means nothing. Otherwise they just wouldn't turn up at all. There will be names on lists and various players to check out and it is the transfer window. It is peak time for managers, assistants and scouts to really earn their money.

pcassist
Also in the Directors was Terry McDermott, Jim Gannon and Chris Hutchings Now some interesting stuff, Tony Philliskirk was looking after a lad (mid to late 20's) dark skinned, possibly South American or Spanish. Dark short wavy hair. No idea who he was, but could it have been Fabian Yantorno Just a name from the past, no idea what he's doing now. Ian G. Hutchings might be in the frame to take over as there new gaffer. McDermott is Huddersfield assistant, maybe Town play the Monkey Hangers soon. Fyldelatic
blackpool..who knows....could be anybody really couldnt it.... They have signed up two forwards recently on loan, Roy O'Donovan and DJ Campbell and a 20 year-old untried winger Graeme Owens from Middlesbrough. They are still looking a replacement for Wes Hoolahan, whom they lost at the start of the season to Norwich. Wes could switch wings, so Parkes must have been watching Taylor, who, truth to tell, had a relatively quiet, but not poor, game.
Nickhenryslovechild
Maybe Wolves were looking at Hughes or Taylor - Davies had a year at Wolves so they know what he can do. Bunley are interested in Hughes, so maybe Wolves want to look at a player who can score goals, help them with there own promotion and take a player from a rival ?? IMO ? Gannon was there tonight also, maybe he was looking at Lewis or Smalley ? Stockport have to sell some players in Jan to balance the books, I wouldn't be suprised if Smally went to County for a few months. Saw Brian Horton outside also, maybe he's looking for an experinced centre forward Edited January 12, 2009 by Nickhenryslovechild

We play Stocky soon, more like he was there watching us as it was a chance to do so when it didn't clash with one of their games?

I'd be very surprised if both Micka Macarthy and Parkes werent bnoth looking at Taylor... with a side order of Eardley. Perhaps the lashers might also fancy a punt on Hughesy.... Roger Ritchie
Bunley are interested in Hughes, so maybe Wolves want to look at a player who can score goals, help them with there own promotion and take a player from a rival ?? IMO ? Wolves wouldn’t take a gamble on Hughes. Their fans still sing anti Lee Hughes songs now.
