oafcprozac
Still hate Robins though, for this !! I was at the first game but as I only saw my Dad at weekends couldn't go the replay, watched it Live on BBC though, great feeling when Stitch equalised gutted when that :censored: Robins nicked it in ET. At least I saw it though, could hardly see a thing in the Kippax on the Sunday, missed two goals!
stargazer
I got on the coach after the replay. A chap spoke to me & I literally could not speak . I was distraught & thought it would be the end for us & the break up of our magnificent team. Mind next couple of years weren't too shabby. BP1960
I was at this game in 1965, Latics lost heavily, but still played well for most of the game. http://borobanter.gazettelive.co.uk/2008/09/1965-middlesbrough-6-oldham-at.html

boboafc
Fans watched in amazement when a referee walked out of an English first division match in 1914. The official, H Smith, had sent off oldham athletic full back Billy cook who refused to go. Smith walked off, abandoning the match 30 minutes early! from 1001 bizarre football stories
