oafcprozac Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 linkety looks to have a decent pedigree and from a higher level. Although I'm sure this is to get us through Jacobson's lay-off, shame for JJ as he's looked very good in pre-season. Quote

My Sheff Wed supporting mate has just text back, "I thought he was a great player, but the fans and Brian Laws hated him. One of them players who never plays great but never has a bad game..." Should fit in well here then...! Quote

oliver Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 So can we expect eards to play Saturday, This fella play left back and kick Hazell into touch or for that matter Gregs and play Holdsworth at CB, Fits for me Quote
slystallone Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Just had a text from a mate who’s a season ticket holder at Hillsborough……..asked him if Gilbert is any cop…….. “Do more than a job for you boys. Steady, very steady left back. Defender first but does push on when needed. Fell out with Laws, clash of personalities we’re told, but never let us down when he actually played. Good buy for a free for you lot” That will do for me; though like most of you; am starting to worry that the CB signing isn’t coming Quote
