martjs Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Apologies if already posted. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_2/8192197.stm Cheers Terry, I thought the Football League/BBC link up would be great as a I've managed to get a few people interested in Latics over here. And I thought they would (again*) be able to watch the highlights of their favourite English team but then i click on the link and got this... "Cannot play media. Sorry, this media is not available in your territory." WTF is that about??? What happened to the "world wide web"? I know it was the same with Virgin Media and I know it's the same for BBC live commentary but it pi**es me off... <end of rant> Can anyone explain this to me? Cheers. (* they used to be able to watch them on Latics World before licensing and all that sh*t) Quote

(* they used to be able to watch them on Latics World before licensing and all that sh*t) In simple terms the BBC pay the Football League for domestic and not international rights to the games. It's the same with many other things both going from the UK to the US and from the US to the UK. LaticsPlayer works in the USA though Quote

Simpo Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 The global rights to internet highlights simply do not exist. Impossible to show it worldwide. Quote

boundaryblue80 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Don't know if it's been mentioned on here but.....I can't believe that on this new "Player" there's no rewind facility...I wanted to watch Furmans volley vs Stockport again (after 1st seeing the replay) and had to watch it over again from the start. Piss poor...I hope when they ask for feedback on it, this is sorted out. Quote

Yu have to move your mouse so that the bar at the bottom comes up and then drag the marker back to where you want to see from. Quote

Hmmm...I did try doing that too but it wouldn't grab it to drag it back....cheers tho, I'll give it another go. Quote
