danoafc Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 adults £10 kids free OAP - £5 Rip Off if you ask me. Perhaps we could let everyone in free Lee? Wonder who's foot the bill for that? Quote
LaticsLee Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 Perhaps we could let everyone in free Lee? Wonder who's foot the bill for that? Come on £10 for a tin pot trophy game ? wouldnt mind paying like £6 or something maybe then they will get some more fans through the gate on a night like that. Quote
dave_ragg1984 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Perhaps we could let everyone in free Lee? Wonder who's foot the bill for that? The same people who will foot the bill after we make a loss on the game anyway I presume. Quote
rudemedic Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 If we charged £6 for adults would it be possible to make a profit even if we filled the ground. We would need to get very close as £6 isn't even a third of our normal prices so we would need to get over 3x as many fans (minimum) to make anything like the same amount of money (which I'm not sure is a profit). £10 seems reasonable as not many people are going to go; its on a weeknight so that's almost 100 fairly hardcore fans out because they are exiles, loads of people won't go because its the JPT and depending on what stands they open a few won't go because their stand isn't open, but they might get a few more than normal because its half price. Yes £10 is a lot of money and its a rip-off but so is £20 for League 1 football but those are the prices the club charge because it makes the most economic sense. Football is a rip-off and will be whilst top class players earn in a week what very senior hard working executive type people earn in a year. Quote

We have to share the money with Accrington if am right so for every adult thats £5 us £5 them. Quote
OldhamSheridan Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 We have to share the money with Accrington if am right so for every adult thats £5 us £5 them. Is it income we have to share, or profit once stadium deductions have been taken into account? If the later's the case: £10 to us, £0 to them. Quote
