Oafc88
Well what's that old cliche? 'theres no justice in football' Ireland completely outplayed France and to make it worse are then cheated out the tournament! absolute disgrace, Henry has gone completely down in my estimation, il now always see him as a cheat! opinions4u
Missed two great chances in normal time. Only themselves to blame. And the lino and the ref and the cheating Froggies.
RoytonBlueLad
This is Henry who blasted Henchoz for handball in the 2001 FA Cup Final when Owen stole it from Arsenal. Then raved at Barcelona after they'd beaten Arsenal in the 2006 Champions League Final only to join them a year later. Great player but just another who rants when it's not going his way but will use the same tactics when he can to ensure it does. They're all the same. British and Irish fans think cheat, to fans overseas it's part of the game. Another skill. He got away with it. They don't care. By now we'd have sent a death threat to the ref and his phone number would be in The Sun tomorrow Edited November 18, 2009 by RoytonBlueLad

Didn't see the game, but gutted. Henry's problem isn't that he is French, it's that he's Arsenal, although I grant you the two are similar. Wenger gets so much credit for the beautiful game whilst lying out of his arse to justify any amount of thuggery and cheating.

Its a game worth millions only problem is FIFA insist on having people paid £250/game (just a guess- no idea what the actual figure is) who do other things for a living decide the outcome of it- I bet the TV replays came up before the Irish kicked off- so why don't they get used. rudemedic
TBH if the linesman knew what he was doing it wouldn't have mattered- France were offside when the ball was pumped long and when the bloke flicked it on Henry looked like he was offside too- I've not seen the best footage on you tube but he looked offside. leeslover
Maybe he doesn't know the French are catholics... Aye, they solved the 17th Century fuel shortage by burning Protestants until they ran out of them. No doubt Corporals of the day were predicting the collapse of civilisation when the Protestant-burning based economy ended.
LeylandLatic
I'm with Slurms. If this was us who'd lost to France, 90% of Ireland would be absolutely creaming themselves over this. Boo :censored:in hoo.

Lookers_Carl
Henry is a cheat... Simple... The whole world is crying foul... What will happen.. What will change.. Same as always, nothing.... Which is one of many reasons why the sport is fast losing credibility, because such things are simply 'accepted as being part of the game' instead of trying to stamp cheating out of the game

24hoursfromtulsehill
Thought that record was held by Maradonna.... On which note - am I the only person in the world who is indifferent to the Oirish wailing? I'm willing to bet that a great many of them hold Maradonna in great esteem not for his football, but for the fact that he shafted us in '86.
