Went for Abbott.

 

He wanted it. He really wanted it.

 

Too many others didn't have it in them to make anything happen within 40 yards of their goal line.

 

(possibly worth MotM simply for hurrying their goalie along with a free kick and going as far as making a divut for the ball to sit on to save the keeper having to do it - most amusing!).

Went for Abbott just simply because he got us the goal.

i did,apart from the missed tackle thought he did ok and played a part when we were in attacking mode to be honest didnt know who to go for but certainly wasnt going for someone who only played 20 mins just because he scored

Pav brought a whole sense of urgency on to the pitch. He did so much more than just score.

I struggle to blame Lee too much, he just is not a full back. He had little idea of positioning and his tackling was :censored:.

 

I'm not sure Abbott brought about the change single handedly, but it certainly coincided with him coming on. i suspect it was more the willingness to venture over the halfway line. He was however, certainly instrumental in our ability to attack - and showed how much we are missing him.
