Kieran Lee again for me had a steady game...

Gregan for me. Lee worthy of a shout too.

 

There were a lot of players who worked hard, but it just didn't happen for them today.

 

Glad Brill didn't get too much stick for his awfulness on their second goal.

 

Smalley and Taylor had their lightweight days today, going down far too easily, although from a footballing view they were both better first half than second.

From a Latics point of view, despite not being at the level of performance we have expected from him this season, I still cant look past Gregan.

Jacobson's been crap every time I've seen him. Including against Tranmere when he got a fair few MOTM votes.

 

Lee looks to be in excellent form but Gregan for MOTM, yet again.

I thought Greegs, Lee, Whitts and Stephens were decent today. Taylor, Parker, Brill (for the second goal) and Jacobson were piss poor. The rest were meh.

 

Liked the look of the two young lads that came on.

Lee has done a bit better of late now he's not getting skinned alive by his winger ala Hartlepool and Norwich, it will be interesting to see how he does the next time he comes up against a decent wide man.

For us; although it wasn't a stand out performance; I've plumpted for Lee. Gregan wasn't up to his usual high standards and got done a couple of times 1st half.........Parker, Whitts, Taylor & Smalley - meh

+1. Ainsworth was easily the best player on the pitch but considering he was released by QPR after failing as their player/manager I'm not surprised.

 

For Latics I'd go for Gregan
