Hopes? That Paul Dickov brings in fresh ideas and a new impetus. There's been too much upheaval at Oldham Athletic over the last four years. (Dickov is our 4th manager in as many years) With this being Dickov's first job, most of us will settle for a competitive team and plenty of goals after last season's drought and bore fest under Dave Penney.

- Fears? That Dickov will endure a poor start to his managerial career and the fans get on his back early doors. (Somethings that happened with depressing regulalrity over the last 15 years.)

- Make a wish... (something about your owners, who you most want to beat,

ticket prices) Can I be greedy and have three wishes??? (1) Doubles over Rochdale, Tranmere and Huddersfield (who despite their budget and abject failure last season are suffering delusions of grandeur!) (2) The new ground finally gets the go ahead enabling the club to hopefully move forward. (3) To see us score more than two goals in any game - something that's not happened since FEBRUARY 2009!

- Other fans think our club/team is...A friendly family club, with a team that tries to play football the correct way.

- Others fans think our fans are...Living in the past, looking to past successes rather than the reality of the problems facing an average League One club.

- Best away fans at your ground? Blackpool in their two visits in 2007, no one else has come close since! If ever a team deserved success it is them, well done to them but I do still hope they'll be down by Christmas!

- Best away ground to visit (can be about pies, atmosphere, friendly

stewards) Southampton was superb, good atmosphere, great view - the only let-down was their big-time Charlie fans who thought they had a divine right to beat little Oldham. It came as quite a shock when we came away with a well-deserved point that could have quite easily been all three!

- Your manager's popularity out of 10 Everyone I have spoken to so far is quite pleased we've gone for the rookie, it worked well with Frizzell in the 60/70s, Royle in the 80/90s and during the last decade with Dowie and Sheridan. Hopefully Dickov will lead us into a brave new future. I think he's got a 70-80% approval rating at the moment which isn't bad for a rookie so definitely 7-8/10.

- Where will you finish? Top-half would be an achievement, but as there have been no additions yet who know's for sure? One thing I do know is that League One will be as competitive as ever with a fair bit of money sloshing around from the likes of Charlton, Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth and Huddersfield.

- Are you wary of having a player-manager in charge? Well we've tried everything else since Joe Royle left 15 years ago (even Joe himself again briefly). He'll be a useful player at League One level and he's got the hunger and desire to achieve as a manager too. I think he'll do well as a player manager and I'm sure Dickov will surprise and impress a lot of people next season!

About five or six very brief sentences. The wife's just come back from Asda with a copy, don't think it'll be online tbh

to be fair it was the same for every other club in the football league. but i agree, they could have chosen a different answer to one or two of the questions

I kind of don't get this part. You're saying that they're good fans and that they deserve success but hope that they fail miserably.

The question is around 'Best Fans'... you have to admit that the noice generated by them at BP has never been replicated since. I still shudder to think about it now (with gritted teeth admiration). However I'm sure if we were watching football like they were at the time we would make a hell of a noise too!

As Prozac says, I still hope they get ------- in the Prem, the donkey lasking gits. And some how manage to lose all 80 sodding million in some sort of banking crash, or donkey investment meltdown.

If you read this every year you'll reaslise that they usually publish one line answers, so not surprised it was cut up.

They were never gonna fit all that in the space given to be fair.
