Just listening to radio Notts commentry of Fleetwood Town vs Mansfield, Fleetwood are currently 3 nil up and Parker has missed a one on one when clean through and a missed a penalty.

I never liked Parker mate, always thought he was a bit of an upstart and a disruptive influence. Writing a player off after two games is silly. Even if he was rubbish for us and he's finished at this level, that doesn't mean he won't have a decent season at Mansfield. Calling him anyone a flop after two games is a tad pre-mature.

Good at falling down and winning free kicks / reasonable on the ball / can't take penalties and doesn't like being bullied by 15stone meatheads - could be a long season for him !

He is crap, that's why he's dropped down to non league. But not scoring in two games doesn't make you a flop. Come the end of the season if he hasn't scored x amount of goals, then you call someone a flop. But the idea of calling anyone a flop after two games is plain ridiculous.

The thread starts Parker flops again, as i explained earlier i was referring to last nights game and his inability as a striker to score a fu...ing goal.

I have not said Parker is a major flop at Mansfield this season because he hsa only scored 2 goals all season because im not mystic fooking meg.

I think to put a parting shot out in the press; you have to have feelings / emotions on the subject. In Parkers case; I really don't think he cared enough to be even the slightest bit bothered. Perhaps, though if that really was the case I wouldn't have expected him to agree to a loan move to Bury, nor would I expect him to have taken the ignominy of a move to a Conference club for a relative pittance. Maybe he just wants to keep fit?

No. That's not what a flop is. You can be good at one club, go to another with expectations of playing just as well as you did at your previous club and failing that is a flop. His career spiralling down to non league, isn't flop, that doesn't even make sense.

 

So, the title of the thread is "Keighan [sic] Parker flops again". And of course 2 games in adequate time to judge whether a player has/will flop or not?

 

I'm not saying he won't flop, but to write him off at Manfield as a flop after two games, as I said is ludicrous.
