Lookers_Carl Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I know this might be the wrong section but... ...Good luck to any tics getting their results today I will leave it in here as I think its a nice token gesture to the tics who post on here who may be sweating like scousers in dixons waiting for their results. And I will echo what 0000 said, good luck to any ticks waiting on results. Quote
Ackey Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 +1 Good look everyone even IF parents the stress is on everyone, hopes and dreams, reality hitting home, new avenues to explore. Just IF you have someone or you are off to Uni check your flat with a toothcomb on day 1, make sure you have photos of room and a signed copy of the condition IF any doubt report it and get them to aknowledge. WHY? because some really dodgy people out there re deposits. IF using UNITE be vigilant as they are crap. Or alternatively.... screw it, trash the room, have a ball and see it as a price you paid for a fantastic time. If you don't get a written warning from your halls for being an idiot you're not doing it right!! Quote
Markoasis Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 .... as a housing advisor at a University, I look forward to this day Quote

If you don't get a written warning from your halls for being an idiot you're not doing it right!! Oh the tales I could tell. Actually students are dull these days, only gave out 3 warning letters out of over 500 students in my halls (was a Hall manager last year) Quote

garcon Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Just to echo the best wishes to students, parents (and housing advisors) alike, especially given the excess of students to university places this year. If you're doing psychology at Aston, look out for the evil cow teaching IPA... Quote
