Personally I'd play the same team as last week. Bembo did well and bringing Feeney on after an hour would be a great sub.

I like the cut of Dickov's jib, last season it took until November for an under-performing goalkeeper to be given competition and December until Stephens was given a chance - this season I think people will be in the team on merit alone.

Having said that I think Warren's experience will be important in a tough test at The Valley - a place where we have never won!

I agree Prozac, i'd lump for Feeney and Tounkare as starters.

dont agree, why should he walk straight back in when DJ did nothing wrong vs Notts?

He looked to be getting better vs Tranmere and i know he can only get fit by playing games but if i were DJ id be slightly peeved if I lost my place.

Good competition though, who last year did we have to replace Pav, no one.

Feeney back def ,

No good having experience players on the bench and young kids on the pitch at a place like the valley.

There are other away grounds for that !!!!

because of his experience. im not saying feeney should start against charlton but if he does i dont think you an call it walking back in because there will be a genuine reason not just yor are biggest name or your ment to be best play so you start

Bruce for first 60 mins, Feeney for final 20 mins and bits

Don;t forget Feeney has been a little injury so it makes not sense to give a full game if we don;t have to.

And he only played 13 games last season.

But bring his experience on a crucial time.

Assuming he's called up every time, Warren feeney will miss the following:

Oldham vs Bristol Rovers, September 4

Brentford vs Oldham, October 9

Oldham vs Tranmere, March 26

That's not too bad considering.
