oafcprozac Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Anyone see him playing for Newcastle at Accrington last night on Sky? Pace to burn, very skilful and actually goes down the wing - set two of the Newcastle goals up and was unlucky not to have scored a couple himself. Would have been a real coup if the rumours had been true. Quote
MaskedOwl Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I was thinkin that myself. Looked awesome. Wonder if there were any truth in the rumours.... Quote

Would have been a real coup if the rumours had been true. If; if there was any chance of him coming in on loan – that disappeared after last nights game. I’d be amazed if there wasn’t a plethora of Championship sides straight on the phone to Chris Houghton this morning asking after his availability on loan. As you say, pace to burn and a delivery at the end of it. His 2 shots; 1 that flashed wide and 1 that struck the inside of the post; showed what having a right footed player on the left wing gives you. Roll on the return to fitness & form of Chris Taylor I say; so we can have our own; paler & ginger version of LuaLua ripping up league 1. Quote
