we ummed and arred over a family ticket as my two nephews wanted in this year.

But we settled for one adult and two kids. One adult because the ball and chain works away and will miss a few night games.

Also I could be part of the "bring a friend for a fiver" that's in the ST already - Three of them will come in handy too depending on the two/three games they could be on for.

this seemed the better financial option for our family this season

Despite not having a pot to piss in, renewed against my better judgement.

Haven't renewed, haven't been this season, enjoying the freedom but knowing I'll probably get dragged back sooner or later...

...which reminds me, need to check the away fixtures for the next few weeks.

I've not had a ST for a few seasons, but this is purely because I have other commitments either end of the football season and generally miss 5-8 games. Don't mind paying on a week-by-week basis but I'd love Latics to do a part ST, like in 8-10 game blocks or something, especially if you could get one game free for all those games.

I think it's only the Saddleworth lot that can afford much, Oldham is a pretty deprived area all in all.

There's plenty of us on here doing fine thanks, though I think you'll find the common denominator is that we all had the sense to get the of Oldham at the earliest opportunity.

Some of us who are in Oldham (not saddleworth) are doing ok as well, thank you very much. Don't be such a snob!

It's true enough - I wasn't exactly surrounded by poverty growing up in Royton.

Being serious, there is poverty around Oldham of course, but there's also plenty who are comfortably off.

(And if there's one thing that Saddleworth and Wilmslow have in common, it's that they're both full of w@nkers. But on the plus side, my car insurance is quite cheap...)

 Bloody hell, thats an amazing generalisation.

I've lived in Oldham all my life (and never in Saddleworth) and I have never even been remotely close to not being able to afford my ST.

Work on matchdays Season ticket would not benefit me as i would miss mid week games due to work commitments.
