Dave_Og
Signed up on the back of the Dikaba plea. Questions: Has he now signed a longer term deal? Why are we continuing to give trials when the implication was tha the cupboard was emphatically bare? No agenda, no side point. Just straight questions. No idea, I know they dont cost the club anything and there is an off chance a gem maybe uncovered. As for Dikaba. His short term deal is still active and no decision has been made from what I'm told (long term)

I have made the suggestion before .... at the right time, why not challenge all members to find one more member? Thank You. Thats a good idea !!! Once we get the fully details on the OS... im hoping we will get nearer to the £500 a month so we can show a committed plan to PD for a player. We have people donating from £1 a month to £30 ... so the fund is growing

Takemeanywhere
£12k a year? That woud be the minimum if everybody went for a quid a week but people are donating far more. Then there are the one-off donations and other initiatives. If we got to 250 people donating, I reckon that would see around £25k per year going into Playershare. jimsleftfoot
Why are we continuing to give trials when the implication was tha the cupboard was emphatically bare? In my organisation, there is a budget. If you want more money, the powers that be say no. However, if you have a viable business case that will benefit the organisation, that is a different matter entirely. I would imagine that there is no budget but business cases can be made. singe
You certainly won't be adding to that number if you get this for the wife at Christmas. That's a good idea. An excellent contraceptive device. We could get 500 if that is the marketing strategy. I said I would not brainwash him, he's only 3, and has already asked why no one else (in Kent) has an Oldham shirt! * Is a new Oldham shirt (he's growing out of this one, and playershare) too much brainwashing at such a young age? * BTW, the explanation I gave was that he was special and lucky yo have a Dad from Oldham. I did not think he would understand the concept Glory Hunter yet! Edited September 9, 2010 by singe
NIKI1234
Now on the OS http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/Trust...2149826,00.html I thought the club would at least try to "sell" the idea in the body of the story.... rather than just "here is a link" and no other content. Unless i have missed other adverts on the OS before this??

Unless i have missed other adverts on the OS before this?? It's rare I use this... What a joke of an article. Fans giving their hard-earned to give the club something they should be providing from the vast amounts already given and they can't even be arsed to write a paragraph on it. Joke. OLDHAMADE
I think OAFC should do what my workplace do and run a Share Option scheme (I put in £250 a month until 2013) Actually buying into the club would be far more productive and should yield a return for the investors who will no doubts invest more. Just a thought
