Budget permitting I would take both But we need to be realistic, unless we are under new ownership come August 2011 the chances are we will be able to afford neither

biggie21
i'd take them both, but can we afford too? we need someone to come in and help the club financially.. if only alan hardy won the lottery :P
chris_oafc
I would have both if we could, Mvoto last game was superb and surley can only get better with more games he plays, He seemed so confident on the ball and tounkara seems to get better every game he player i'm also impressed with his work rate when he looses the ball he is willing to get back. Both big lumps, strong as oxes - fit the Prem criteria 100%, highly likely they'll get another contract offer from the Mackems then be loaned out to the Championship next year. ste1987
I'd take them both, but I prefer M'Voto over Tounkara. Although he scored, how Tounkara got MOTM on Saturday I'll never know..

But isn't that if you try signing them well they are still under contract at thier club, If they get released they would be no compensation would they ? Although he scored, how Tounkara got MOTM on Saturday I'll never know.. Seriously? Tounkara was MOM by a mile. Big strong, held the ball up, brought others into play. A lot of the time his team mates were letting him down. Out of interest who was your MOM? I know Keiran Lee seems to be the darling of the forum at the moment and he's done very well since coming into the team late last year. But his defending often leaves a lot to be desired, often caught inside and has already cost us a few goals this season and last. He's young and he'll learn, and i'm not convinced he'll be a full-back for all his career. There's obviously a very good midfielder in there. Crusoe
cant be we didnt release porter but we would have got money if he stayed in england Eh? I think he was right. If they're released from contract they are no longer employed by their club, and their former club is not entitled to compensation. Pretty sure of that. The under-24 rule is intended to compensate clubs for the training costs for players they want to keep but who are refusing a new contract to sign with another club. RobOAFC
cant be we didnt release porter but we would have got money if he stayed in england Depends on whether they have been offered a new contract which is the same wage, or an increase
