oafcprozac
months loan Cedric Evina SMS - WHY? I'd say we need another striker more urgently or summat different in midfield. We're well covered at LB - strange one... New Loanee Edited October 5, 2010 by oafcprozac
beag_teeets
Push Black to left wing, to cover Taylor playing as the support striker. We might even be freshening up the midfield by giving Stephens or Furman a breather. It might even mean that Dickov has finally got Arsene's mobile number from one of is contacts at his former club. If we do right by this left back the we might get the next Fabregas on loan to toughen him up a bit.

The return from the strikers so far is poor and needs addressing. I'm not saying the lad is not a good player, just is he a priority? Macca
Another french lad. I think the club is looking for a way into Ligue.1 Vive le Oldham!

Break The Silence
the future is dark if the future is Black. Bit harsh Harry. I think Black's done pretty well so far, and the more proper "home grown" players in the team the better, at least he really wants to play for the shirt... MaskedOwl
what are people complaining about? he's prob here for nowt. more than likely be played on left wing where we aren't exactly overloaded with options.
PlayItLivo
Black is still young and has played every game so far? I know he's probably fit as a fiddle, but being honest, he's not the finished article yet, he's still a bit suspect defensively, and whilst I think he'll turn out to be a decent left back for us I see no harm in bringing in some short term competition for him. Because at the moment we really only have Black who plays left back and if he gets injured, we've got no other options but to play someone out of position to cover there. Also Black looks pretty good getting forward, so we could give him a chance to get on at left midfield and see how well he can perform there. Apart from Jacobson, when he isn't injured.
mattsgrandad
On the Latics website, he says that it has been a great experience playing at Arsenal and describes their facilities as "unbelievable". I've no doubt he'll use the same word to describe ours. Seriously though, it's an exciting prospect for us Latics fans - maybe he'll be as good as the young lad we got from Chelsea a couple of seasons ago. And well done to PD for using his premiership-level contacts - much better than our usual "has-beens" selection.
Macca
Cedric captained the Arsenal Youth Team during last seasons FA Youth Cup campaign. Perhaps a bit more leadership albeit from a young lad.
LaticsLee
will most probably be used as a left winger more than anything.

BJBlue
I like Black and i think it's important to let him get the first team experience but i don't think he should be starting every game yet, he still looks suspect at the back and on Saturday in the second half he looked scared to run at his man and instead opted to cross in from further away and these balls tended to end up doing us no good. On the other hand at least he's attempting it. It's a tough one. At the very least this lad gives us a few more options. If he is good going forward from the wing then he and Black could become a real threat to defenses, only time will tell
