Worth Another Look?

Recommended Posts

For arguments sake, if you had taken advantage of the cheap admission offer today.....being either a new or lapsed fan....would you be tempted to return after todays performance?

Although we didn't get the 3pts i thought the performance ( mainly 2nd half ) was encouraging and a massive improvement on last season.

I know the wife's cousin was dragged down to the game by his eldest son due to the flyer he had been given at school - so that's one of a few that took advantage today. Whether a 0-0 draw (albeit entertaining in the second half) will drag them back at full price of £23, i'm not so sure.

cant see too many stay aways coming back at full price to be honest...

first half wow...think a few would leave at half time...i think going off the second half performance,if we can convert some or at least one of our chances and turn draws into wins people may well come take a look...as it is too many people have turned there backs onus since shez second season....they have simply had enough, regardless of who is in charge and who the team are...take a lot to get back a decent amount i think

Some of those who did stay for the second half may just realise that there's a manager who can:

1) Turn things round in a half time team talk.

2) Make substitutions that can change the game.

3) Throw the kitchen sink at it when needed.

Isn't this the sort of thing Joe Royle was quite good at?

A couple of home games now where we really deserved to win but didn't. That would put us in the top 2. Silly thoughts keep drifting in to my mind ...

Fine margins at this level - Brighton away and a point lost - yesterday and Leyton Orient at home - both should have brought 3 points - where would we be? Ah equal points with Brighton... Fine Margins - silly thoughts keep drifting ...
