Avoid buying tickets for either end of the stadium. Be as inconspicious as possible (don't wear England scarfs, shirts etc), consider attending with Russian friends. Arrange to arrive at the stadium in good time as latecomers sometimes trigger problems outside grounds. Ensure you know how to get to your sector at the stadium before you arrive - know where you are going. Be sober. Leave the vicinity of the stadium as quickly as possible after the final whistle. England which was an extremely strong bid came 4th out of 4???!!! These things happen you say but then Qatar which was the weakest of 5 goes and wins. Football stinks. Stinks to high heaven. What can Qatar offer that Australia, the US, Japan cant offer? Oh yes, that's right - bucketloads of cash into people's pockets.
