To be truthuly honest i think that they are practicing for penalties because they are unexperienced and getting very very desperate :(

Does the amount of penalties not just show that we are getting on the ball in the opposition box, which is surely a good thing

We might be getting into the box but the stats don't lie........apart from the penalty 0 shots on target in the whole 90 minutes!!!

The stats clearly lie. We scored a penalty and last time I checked the BBC were reporting no shots on target.

It shows that we are getting the ball into the box but unfortunately you don't get points for getting that far. You need to put the ball in the net, the part that we really struggle with.

That's not (quite) on target though!

According to Harry Dowd who was updating me whilst I was at Wembley, we (harshly) had two 'goals' disallowed from Reid and Smith, so they'd be efforts on target….

Four seasons in one day, but had a fantastic weekend nonetheless spoiled not in the least by the duck eggs capitulation at Colchester. Even met Joe Hart (who was buzzing at the City score, brought down a tad when I informed him that the Scum had scored 8 - paying for Burger King's with £50 notes…) at Euston and my daughter spotted and had her picture taken with Matty Smith (Smith, Smith) who was on our homeward bound train on Sunday Night after staying over with family….
