jsslatic
Happy with that, nice work PD. Out of curiosity is this a deadline move or could we have signed him tomorrow as he was unattached?
Bristolatic
everyone thought andy ritchie was finished when found loitering in leeds 2nd string...new start might be what he needs welcome sheffi Didn't take long for Sly's prediction to come true. Stevie_J
As long as the boo boys don't get on his case if he doesn't get a hat trick against Udders. One every other game is a start. One every other game would be bloody marvellous.
jsslatic
One every other game would be bloody marvellous. Not as many as Reid, and he's apparently a bag of :censored:e.

lancy lad
Age and Fitness are my concerns......but his experience will hopefully be a massive boost to the dressing room. Welcome Shefki.....1 more name to mispell on here!! I know where you are coming from but remember everyone saying that when we took Shez from non league! jsslatic
BBC: Oldham have signed former Newcastle striker Shefki Kuqi until the end of the season. Another frontman the Magpies won't be signing tonight. Probably for the best on this occasion, though. I dunno, he's got to be better than Nile Ranger. MaskedOwl
well im pleased. moaners can stick it up their ar5e. been crying out for experience.
slystallone
Concern Lancy; that's all. Just as I was with Shez, and Eyresy et all. They didn't turn out too badly for us did they; so hopefully Mr Kuqi can come in and make an impression. Its more his experience & know-how that I think will be of benifit. Also hopefully gets a few goals whilst he's at it!
Gaz_Oafc
According to @mikekeegan there was a late bid from another league 1 club for him!

Fully understand what you are saying though. I thought he was older than 34, he looks more like 50............. I think he will do well at this level! Midsblue
Just goes to show you don't listen to rumours re Howard but I well happy about Kuqi signing. I wasn't aware that he's 6'2" so has the height too as well as the build and power to provide hold-up play and score too.
