MaskedOwl
I was suprised to see how expensive these are. A group of around 10-15 of us were going to go in for 3 course meal, free bar, etc but it's £125pp. Does anyone else think this is a little steep? Decided to have an away day game weekend instead. Lags
Before your group make plans to take your cash away from the club try phoning up and see if you can haggle um down a fraction. If no movement nearer to what you'll pay fair do's. Edited September 5, 2011 by Lags

Maybe we are just being a bit tight.

opinions4u
I think the offer for Saturday - match, pie and pint for £30 - is excellent. Only a tenner for season ticket holders too. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsUpdate/0,,10337~2441952,00.html £120 would pay for away ticket,2 nights accomodation, transport, and partly food/drink Don't forget to book the accomodation via the PlayerShare WebShop at www.buy.at/xtra. bowl
In 2003 a load of us from The Queens did it, paying £55. So it's gone up a lot since then. I was looking into doing an away game but found most other clubs (if not all in this league) only have pay bar facilities.
oafcprozac
Yeah maybe you are, match in suite, prog, corporate gift, 3 courses and a free bar!!! We never got our 'corporate gift' last season… I think unless you're a business you don't get owt….

Its £60 without the free bar so you are paying £65 quid for the purposes of drinking. If you are going to drink more £65 worth of booze each then its worth it, otherwise go for the £60 option and stick money in a kitty or something. I would say £60 with a 3 course meal and pay bar is pretty decent really. £125 isn't and its aimed at corporate entertaining rather than mates going along. The cheaper option only includes summat like a potato pie buffet. The full package includes three course meal, wine, coffee, mints and cheese and biscuits, bitter, lager and optics and mixers. Its worth it if you like to put your ale away…i'm debating whether to go for it NYE, I was looking at The Mongs game but not worth it on a night match, so spending the money going to The Grand Final instead, with a pre-match meal lots of beer in Manchester before heading over to OT. Always had a good do, won tickets for the Huddersfield game in the Corner Flag in 05-06, it was a pay bar that day, but every season since we've gone in for at least a game a season and had the whole hog and been well looked after and had a great (if little hazy) day…. Ah fair enough then, I thought it was a good deal at £60. Will probably still do the pay bar option in the next few months anyway.
