I voted taylor - as it happens kuqi was the best player on the pitch by a mile but i was very pleased to see the ginger prince playing a very intelligent role as the game went on.

Kuqi was involved in all three goals but for me the defence had the games two outstanding performers - Lee just pipping MVoto for MoM

Had to decide between Kuqi, Lee, M'voto, Reid & Taylor.

Lee had a superb game at both right and left back, M'voto let very little get past him, Reid ran his heart out and fully deserved his goal (he could have had a hat trick with a bit of luck) and Taylor is getting back to his old self.

Gone for Kuqi in the end, for scoring one and setting up the other two. On top of that, he was always showing where he wanted the ball and was encouraging all around him. Some of his closing down was excellent and won balls back off their defenders that had no right to win.

The rest? Cisak looks safe as houses. Clarke was OK apart from the misplaced pass that led to their goal, but wasn't as comfortable when he had to move to RB. Mellor was having a good game and made some superb tackles before his injury. Diamond was solid when he came on and teamed up well with M'voto. Simpson had a very good first half, but started fading in the second half - not quite match fit yet? Wesolowski was a terrier in midfield and his pass rate was excellent. Adeyemi got stuck in, got forward whenever he could and showed some very good touches. Morais didn't make much of an impact in the time he had, but two passes were brilliant. I think PD only took Reid off for Morais because 1) he was knackered and 2) he could get his own ovation as he came off. Smith showed his potential and took his goal very well.

Some of today's passing and movement was excellent and the defence did very well against the constant crosses that came in, albeit a couple of scares with headers that just flew wide.

If we can keep this up, we'll win more than we lose.
