Stevie_J
Latics travel to Prenton Park to face Tranmere Rovers tomorrow afternoon, following their impressive televised win over MK Dons. Dean Furman is again in the squad, following his return as a late substitute against the Dons and full-back Paul Black also returns to the fold. Young David Mellor may make it difficult for Black to regain his starting pace in the Latics team, however, after he starred in Monday night's win. Josh Parker and Bradley Diallo remain sidelined and Reuben Reid pulled up early on in Monday's game and will play no part against the team with whom Latics established a slightly surreal rivalry during Ronnie Moore's time at Boundary Park. Shortly after Latics sacked Moore, he then took over at Tranmere. And the club did all they could to prove that Scousers really do have a great sense of humour by following his appointment with that of John Barnes and Jason McAteer and then, after their hilarious cameo, Les Parry, the club's physiotherapist. Parry, looking trim, with his bags of tricks. Parry is without Joss Labadie, who has chipped in with a couple of goals from midfield this season, as well as former-Swansea man Andy Robinson, Mark McChrystal and experienced winger Martin Devaney. Shefi Kuqi, now joint-top goalscorer at Latics this season, will be looking to add to his record of five goals in eight games. Latics' away record: W3 D0 L3 Tranmere's home record: W2 D3 L1 Latics squad: Cisak, M'voto, Black, Wesolowski, Diamond, Clarke, Morais, Furman, Simpson, Adyemi, Smith, Tarkowski, Taylor, Lee, Millar, Gerrard, Mellor and Kuqi. Predicted starting line-up: Cisak Lee Clarke Diamond Mellor Simpson Wesolowski Adeyemi Taylor Kuqi Morais Scoreline prediction: Tranmere 0-1 Latics
