today might have helped us if anything. they obviously had an off day when simpson got a hattrick so now we now how they can play, we'll be better prepared for the two legs. but knowing we can beat them will help a lot going into them

Agree, not losing today was also crucial today ahead of the JPT games.

Chesterfield were a far better side today than the one that turned up at BP.

OK going forward but they are very slow at the back and both Smith & later Kuqi on a few occasions outpaced them.

With Lester back in the side and another loan forward they could be a handful .

Noticed how they held a high line at free kicks to try and counter any of the great crosses that Simpson can put in.

Would settle for the same result in the 1st leg but glad today showed that it is far from a certainty that we will beat them over 2 legs.

Hope they stay up because i would rather go there than Yeovil or Exeter next season.
