pukka
Good to see Reuben Reid back in the squad. It took him quite a while to get fit previously, I hope people don't get on his back if he isn't bang on it from minute one.

I dont think he will feature tomorrow. if he does then its a big risk . 3 months is a long time out
opinions4u
Most players need a few games to find form after injury. Don't think I'd be starting him at Hudds though. Cisak M'Voto Diamond Lee (Jack Hunt may be hard work for a right footed left back though) Adeyemi maybe worth another go Furryman Wesolowski Morais (I think they're weakest down their left side, as we are) Scapuzzi (although there's a temptation to get more solidity from Mellor, in which case I'd leave Morais out and move Scapuzzi to the right) Taylor Kuqi
pukka
If he's been put in the squad I can't see him not playing some part. When I said "minute 1" I meant his minute one rather than the first minute of the game.
keep_the_faith
Clearly gonna be given a run out in the 87th minute when latics are 3-1 up , to the ovation of 1500 tics
beag_teeets
With Black taking a knock for the ressies I think we will be looking at the same back 5 as started at Anfield. Reid will be in the squad, maybe even a seat on the bench but unless something drastic happens he won't feature.
seasidelatic
The back five looked solid enough against the Scousers so I'm not overly concerned if that's who plays tomorrow. Midfield of Parker - Furman - Weso - Scapuzzi for me with Kuqi up top and Taylor in behind, for me. Probably why I'm not a manager, though. Seems a bit of an odd thing to say when that 5 shipped 5 goals (one each!?) but it is a true statement. Plus we don't have many other options. It's taken him a while this time too - he was initially penned in to be back before Xmas.
laticdickovarmy
Lol i wonder if with 5mins to go and we get a pen we will bring him of the bench American Football style or like Ben Watson did for Wigan away at Stoke over Xmas
RobOAFC
Concern about Reid coming back is his fitness and what shape he's in. Last season he was overweight out of shape etc after an injury I think. Hopefully he's managed to keep in shape this time! I know he's naturally quite large but he looked to have lost weight over the summer after a full pre-season.

But we'll have, assuming nobody gets sent off, 11 professinal footballers on the pitch, surely 1 of those is capable of putting the ball in the net from 12 yards out. Shouldn't have to make a sub for someone to take it.
