Communication?

You can have months of uptime, 24/7 availability then due to an unforeseen event outside of your control, you lose service for a few hours. Suddenly you are running "a :censored: service" and the months and years previous to that count for nowt.

 

I am often tempted to email all my users on a daily basis just to let them know that everything is working..

In apple's defence, they posted their message about 20 minutes before Stevie J posted the explanation in a separate thread.

 

Merge-a-matic must have been experiencing technical difficulties for longer :wink:

I don't give a :censored:. The tone was uncalled for.

 

And the merge-a-matic works just fine, I just wasn't going to have his post at the head of the explanation.

I think it was more the fact it sounded like he was demanding an explanation. I think people forget this site is run by volunteers
