apple
Any chance that we can know why the site was down yesterday?
Stevie_J
You know, sometimes I wonder why we :censored:ing bother. http://www.owtb.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=37569
beag_teeets
You can have months of uptime, 24/7 availability then due to an unforeseen event outside of your control, you lose service for a few hours. Suddenly you are running "a :censored: service" and the months and years previous to that count for nowt. I am often tempted to email all my users on a daily basis just to let them know that everything is working..
rudemedic
In apple's defence, they posted their message about 20 minutes before Stevie J posted the explanation in a separate thread. Merge-a-matic must have been experiencing technical difficulties for longer Edited January 30, 2012 by rudemedic
Stevie_J
In apple's defence, they posted their message about 20 minutes before Stevie J posted the explanation in a separate thread. Merge-a-matic must have been experiencing technical difficulties for longer I don't give a :censored:. The tone was uncalled for. And the merge-a-matic works just fine, I just wasn't going to have his post at the head of the explanation.
razza699
In apple's defence, they posted their message about 20 minutes before Stevie J posted the explanation in a separate thread. Merge-a-matic must have been experiencing technical difficulties for longer I think it was more the fact it sounded like he was demanding an explanation. I think people forget this site is run by volunteers

welshgaz
Any chance that we can know why the site was down yesterday? Seems like a perfectly reasonable question to me.
