oafc joe
Yes tonight was a very poor defeat, but look at the players we had on the sidelines, Furman, wesolwoski and simpson. The goals we are conceding are very bad (try diamond in there). We missed a hatful of chances tonight and had a blatant pen turned down! We should've won tonight but we need to be so much more clinical in front of goal and stop giving away soft goals! Yeovil will not be easy by any means on Saturday, they won at MK dons tonight and have a striker bang in form, but i think we'll win on Saturday, we have seemed to respond well to bad defeats
bossrocks
Its so much more disappointing after Saturday. I thought we played pretty well, certainly better than last Tuesday and didn't deserve to lose but we give ourselves so much to do by conceding soft goals. I like M'Voto but I agree that Diamond needs to come back. Big Jean's becoming a liability with the ball at his feet and he didn't even win that much in the air tonight. Keiran Lee and Tom Adeyemi were both fantastic. Marsh-Brown looked a threat through the middle in the first half but seemed to lose interest after he got shouted at by a couple of our players for not passing the ball quicker. I'm not convinced about Reece Brown. And where is Dickov's plan B? Smith isn't the answer!

Agree with the first highlighted bit, our best 2 players tonight by a country mile, can't agree with the second. Thought Brown looked pretty decent, certainly worth giving a chance... stargazer
I too thought this was one of Adeyemi's best games , he never stopped working. Morais is playing very well consistently now. I think Brown is probably a decent player , just needs matches to get up to speed me thinks. Looks composed on the ball , other than Simpson few others ever do. We did most things well but ......we are a soft touch on balls in the air in our box & we simply miss too many chances , it was like Chesterfield all over again. Let's be honest 1 goal scored by us from in open play at Sheff U , a fluke goal last night .
Roger Ritchie
And where is Dickov's plan B? Smith isn't the answer! Our plan B is sadly limited by our budget. Just the same as our plan A Would love to have a squad like Huddersfield where we can just sit loads of class on the bench. But to do that we would have to be willing to pay for it. Highlights why the playoffs were never on. Yes we can do well at times, but lack the consistency needed to get up the league.
Stevie_J
All the way through the season, no matter who's played at centre back, we've had people saying M'voto, Clarke, Diamond or Tarkowski should come in to replace them. M'voto, Clarke and Diamond are all much of a muchness and very average league one defenders. They've got experience which Tarky lacks but he's a a better player than the lot of them. Tarky should play, obviously Clarke's not around now, and who starts from Big Jean and Zander doesn't make an awful lot of difference. Both pretty slow, crap on the ball and prone to mistakes but both decent in the air and like a tackle.

stargazer
The 4 centre halfs we have relied on have all been of similar ability & failings. For me Clarke is the best & Mvoto the worst , but very little difference in the four of them.
Roger Ritchie
I thought Clarke was a very average clogger centreback. Poor on the ball and slow on the turn. That long throw of his was rubbish too.
