leeslover
I wouldn't know half of them if they were wearing name badges. It's one of my relatively few pet hates when someone starts showboating in the middle of this sort of turn-taking songs. Just sing it the way it goes, you twats. Guest Scratch2000uk
Shane McGowan's piece is great, 3.14 - 3.19.
rosa
It's one of my relatively few pet hates when someone starts showboating in the middle of this sort of turn-taking songs. Just sing it the way it goes, you twats. Yeah that was the general consensus at work: "Was is just me or did you not think, 'for :censored:'s sake just sing it'?" "No, I know what you mean, Jose Baxter's ex bellowing all over it didn't exactly improve on the original." "Jose Baxter used to go out with Holly Johnson?" I'll still be buying it, great cause and great gesture. Probably won't listen to it though.
Diego_Sideburns
Well done the BBC in honouring the late Anne Williams, Hillsborough justice campaigner, with a moving tribute at the Sports Personality of the Year ceremony. disjointed
Well said Diego, the only thing that ruined it was the playing of "You'll never walk alone" whilst her brother was reading out his speech. Just seemed to make it a little cheesy.
opinions4u
I'm not really a Guardian man, but David Conn's reporting of the inquest on Twitter and in his newspaper has been excellent. Here is just one example: http://gu.com/p/42g3g
rosa
I'm not really a Guardian man, but David Conn's reporting of the inquest on Twitter and in his newspaper has been excellent. Here is just one example: http://gu.com/p/42g3g His reporting and the live updates on the Liverpool Echo website have been superb. PC Nicol's testimony was damning, you have to admire her honesty and bravery. The accounts from the survivors have been really harrowing, their courage in reliving something so horrific is humbling. How I'd love to make anyone who's ever made jokes or sang songs about Hillsborough listen to them.
