opinions4u
Fourth time I've seen him. Best of the lot tonight. And the other three were exceptional. Real energy, passion and drive from start to finish. I made it 3 hours and 20 minutes on stage. Long live rock!

opinions4u
I might see him in Prague next month. There's a plan, but the constituent parts are a bit flakey at this stage!
Roger Ritchie
Saw him at the Isle of Wight festival this weekend. Brilliant. Completely amazing.

opinions4u
A very wet one if he plays for as long as he did in Madrid last week - 3h48m set! Getting reports that he's close to 4 hours on stage in Paris tonight ... and not yet got to the encore. Edit - final score a mere 3 hours 37 minutes. Ackey
How long did he do and how much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?
opinions4u
3 hours 17 mins. Got flights and hotel on air miles. Would be about £90 each for return flight and £100 a night for Novotel if I convert the points to cash. Tickets had a face value of about £50 but could only source them from Viagogo so ended up paying £130 a pop. Still feels worth it. Synot Tip Arena really nice too. 22,000 capacity but felt bigger. Odd to see a giant Tesco Extra over the road! Czech girls are hot, but don't tell the wife. Sat between some Brits, two Yanks, behind some Noweigans and in front of some Czechs. Loads of flags from across Europe in the crowd including Poland, Romania and Greece.

opinions4u
Similar to the setlist he played at Isle of Wight. Presumably without the fireworks during Twist and Shout though. No fireworks. Four tracks more though. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/bruce-springsteen/2012/seaclose-park-newport-england-3bdf0c08.html IOW got a Lonesome Day, No Surrender, Out In The Street, Glory Days. So 21 out of 29 unchanged. Mrs o4u reckons Joad, Candy's Room and My Love Won't Let You Down and This Hard Land haven't been played on the tour before. She's trying to convince me to do Bergen in a week or so. Might be struggling for that! Edited July 12, 2012 by opinions4u

opinions4u
Your Mrs is cool, don't tell Mrs S though! I won't! She's backtracking on Candy's Room getting its first airing of the year. And she now says Tom Joad has been played before, but this was its first solo acoustic offering.

mikejh45
Just got home from Hyde Park and Hard Rock Calling. 3 hrs 20 mins of brilliance with McCartney rocking up at the end for Twist and Shout. Put a lot of the younger acts to shame with his energy and even carried on singing when the rains came down including getting soaked when joining the crowds at the front. OldhamSheridan
I know it's crazy. Some selfish singer potentially ruining a venue for musical events due to his own selfish egotistical opinion of himself.
