Zorrro
Thos thread has provided some much needed comic relief. Andy and Will, take a bow. You're the new Morecambe & Wise, only, y'know, gay. If the FUN NAZIS were that arsed why did they wait 'til after the last song was finished? Didn't they 'just' prevent The Boss (perfectly acceptable way of addressing him, by the way) and McCartney thanking the crowd? Ridonkolous. leeslover
Well, Madonna finished on time but then got served a noise order at her after-party at home. THAT's rock and roll.

Ackey
If Madonna was my neighbour I'd punch her in the face. That said I'd punch her in the face no matter what. Her being my neighbour would simply facilitate my doing so.

Ackey
Nah! She's had so much surgery to suck the fat out of her all you'd have to do is make her stretch for something and her skin would snap clean off her! She's like Ru'afo from Star Trek: Insurrection!! opinions4u
So you are standing 4-square besides a middle aged middle class music correspondant - from The Daily Telegraph. What next - Chris Rea? Rea is my other musical hero. I actually prefer his songs to those of Bruce. But Springsteen is so much better live. Rea lacks the audience rapport the makes Bruce far and away the best live rock act ever. Edited July 18, 2012 by opinions4u

He´d picked up another guitar and was going to do "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" which would have included a moving tribute to Clarence Clemons. Zorrro
Right, well, in that case I applaud the sensible folk who cut the mics. 'The Boss' honestly, just who does he think he is? Makes me sick.
opinions4u
Stick this review up your jumper... http://www.telegraph...ing-review.html Ah, the Tom Morello stuff classed as the highlight! Only ever seen it on YouTube myself.
singe
The Boss had a a bit of fun at London's expense in Dublin... They agreed 11.00, I mean wow that is way past everyones bedtime, how experimental. Yard Dog
Not many men have an electronic timestamp of the moment they entered middle age! So you are standing 4-square besides a middle aged middle class music correspondant - from The Daily Telegraph. What next - Chris Rea? I don't even know you two, but these comments really made me chuckle.
24hoursfromtulsehill
Funny you should ask about a Boss/Quo rock off. Earlier in the evening, Bruce did a cover of Rockin' All Over the World with the singer from Creedence Clearwater Revival. I'll get me pipe and slippers. -
Zorrro
Fogerty wrote it anyway. Quo can NOB OFF. (Factoid: Francis Rossi and his family are patients at the wife's dental surgery.)

opinions4u
Mr Tulse has a spare for Eric Clapton. Phil Collins is supporting. Not fussed by Phil Collins. Eric's great. Unless you pay £100 for 2 tickets for one of his gigs and he plays 2 and a half hours of blues stuff you've never heard of.
Ackey
I can win this thread's loser stakes by admitting that I've seen Genesis live (from the 5th row at Old Trafford) and Peter Gabriel (from the 8th row at the Arena)!
Zorrro
Nope, sorry. I've seen The Bluetones approximately 50 times.
