Freddy Eastwood had decent scoring record with Southend in his 1st spell; enough to catch the eye and earn a decent move.....but his record since is pretty poor - and when I saw him play not last season; but the season before - his was actually out of the box more than Kuqi was for us last season. He's a good way off being called a proven poacher..... he's certainly a proven scorer? Either way the calibre of yesterday's signing and ones we are linked to such a Eastwood are far more established than I thought we would be in for. We need a "potential signings being bandied around" thread Legend over at scunthorpe, was released by knill as was apparently one of the clubs top earners and spent a long time out injured. I never said we were signing him, no "insider" gave me info - I just said we could do a lot worse. Would have to drop his wages and would be a good older head.
