oldhamains
Noticed someone with the old white 3rd shirt on. The first game was a much better game. I'd have won £50 if GB had stayed 1-0 Edited July 26, 2012 by oldhamains
another fan
i was at the game but didnt notice the flag + 1 But did you notice their PA system, it was crap Edited July 26, 2012 by another fan
rudemedic
Can we sign the ref from the GB game he is the worst ref I have ever seen and I once saw a yank colleague of my Dads ref a charity game who didn't know the rules and admitted as much. If he reffed all our games Mvoto, Byrne and Wes would go a full season not getting booked. The UAE front five were brilliant that number 15 is going to be a player. I saw the Oldham flag too, but since I was sat very near a Latics fan in last seasons home strip it was probably the poster of the spot. The PA wasn't brilliant but it was a bit easier if you can understand some French. They did run out of hot food at the kiosk I was at during half time of the first game although maybe they got more in (it was still 2 hours to GB kick-off), so perhaps the catering at BP isn't that bad. Furthermore if you are going to sell "Ale" and "Cider" at least know the bloody name of it which ought not to be that hard since its written on the container you sell it in. Anyone who starts a Mexican wave who is older than 16 should be forced to memorise all my posts ever. Plus what is the point of having a replay screen in the ground taking up seats (which might have been used) if they don't show any of the fouls or controversial incidents- which due to the worst ref of all time was 95% of the GB game. OldhamSheridan
Well, at least people got in at Old Trafford. At Newcastle many fans who had ordered their tickets and had to pick them up missed practically the whole first game. Which includes Mexico and Korea fans, but hey, they got to watch Gabon v Switzerland. Some were even directed to pick their tickets up elsewhere. London. LaticsPete
Was at Newcastle. The Gabon v Switzerland match was quite a good one actually! Was last at St James Park in 1991 , when we played there. Cracking developments since then though having now seen in the flesh where they put away fans nowadays , if we get them away in the cup then bring your stannah stairlift.
