There was no possibility (and no such intention) that the accusations would "flush out" other victims, as they did in the case of, for instance, Stuart Hall. Beyond reasonable doubt is, rightfully, a bloody high threshold. He's been found not guilty, fine. But that doesn't necessarily mean she's a 'lying bitch'. If alleged victims were named and shamed then people would largely stop coming forward at all and nobody wants that. Not knowing an alleged victim's identity is by far the lesser evil than paedophiles and other sex offenders getting away scot free on the grounds people are too afraid to report them. Same as every weekend there are cases of assault that don't make it to court despite possibly having life changing repercussions. We don't live in a perfect world, odd things happen. Who knows the ins and outs of this case (pardon the pun), some minor actor's name has been tarnished but to name the accuser achieves nothing. She'd have her picture on the front of the nationals for a day or two, life in her immediate area would be difficult as people not connected to either get their pitchforks out for no reason. If she has made up, exaggerated or fabricated the whole thing then she has issues that medical professionals would address far better than a pitchfork wielding mob can.
