jsslatic Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 All ticket for Boxing Day clash. £24 - just think of it as a pound per minute that Jose will play. Quote
pukka Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 £24? That's 2 that are not going now. My parents have decided against it. Dad: "Not paying that for league 1 football - they can sod off" Quote
opinions4u Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Can I get in for free to watch the injury time? Quote
Blu-Blood Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Robbing bastards...charging us a fiver more than trannies and swindon for their games either side of christmas Quote
pukka Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Robbing bastards...charging us a fiver more than trannies and swindon for their games either side of christmas Not sure if Im gunna go now having read that. Quote
pukka Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I could only afford that game or Coventry. I wanted to do Sheff United, but that has pissed me off. Quote
jsslatic Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 We are a Category A game. Tranmere and Swindon are Category B. Bradford, FWIW, are Category A. Quote
jsslatic Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 I could only afford that game or Coventry. I wanted to do Sheff United, but that has pissed me off. 'Coventry' tickets should be £16, but don't hold me to that! Quote
ceskylatic Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 :censored: that!Cov game instead it is then Quote
NIKI1234 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 250 away fans at most. Less away fans than we took to Shrewsbury on a Tuesday night, No chance. Even with it being all ticket and £24 there will be at least double that Quote
Monty Burns Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Less away fans than we took to Shrewsbury on a Tuesday night, No chance. Even with it being all ticket and £24 there will be at least double that when we played shrews you could (1)wake up on the day of the game and decide to go there by (2)public transport. Quote
Tommy_Fent Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 That £24 is a reduction, a couple of years ago they charged Huddersfield £28 Quote
Aaron Howarth Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 We'll see if people change their minds when we're STILL unbeaten come boxing day and just outside the play offs ;) Quote
OAFC_Ryan Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 IF we beat Mansfield and get a decent draw people will be wanting to go to that which could further minimise the attendance of this game. Quote
oafcmetty Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 When the alternative is a day with the in laws, they could charge £100 and I'd still go. Quote
oafc1955 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Why the hell does it have to be all ticket for away fans, you're not telling me they couldn't afford a segregation of a couple of thousand away fans in a stadium of that size..........Boxing day used to be a great fixture for crowds but that decision along with the price will put a fair few fans off going. This all ticket scenario is gradually creeping into the game more and more....they're killing it for the spectators!! Quote
brierleys555 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 im going but only because of work I dont get to go to many away games. otherwise it would be a big fat no robbing gits. Quote
rudemedic Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 When they make it all-ticket for away fans only, there is always the risk of away fans going in the home ends. Especially as you'd probably have to buy a ticket over 48 hours prior to kick-off. Quote
GlossopLatic Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 How many does that lower tier hold? Quote
disjointed Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 How many does that lower tier hold? We took around 800 last year and there was still room for another 300 I reckon. Quote
