Witty Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 I was working near Duisburg for a few months about three years ago and I used to go to the games. First time I went I bought a beer in the concourse thinking that I'd have to drink it there before the game. I was amazed to find people walking to their seat with a beer - I thought "brill" get one in and go and sit down - which I did. Then after 15 min of the game things got even better, a guy was walking around the stand with a barrel of beer strapped to his back selling it to you where you sat - and not at rip off prices either. Diego_Sideburns Posted June 11, 2014 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Eintracht Frankfurt fans have been recognised for their establishment of an initiative to help children with cancer, through which more than 51,000 Euros have been raised since 2009 and donated to social institutions that enjoy little government or municipal funding. The project is one of 25 recognised in a Startsocial competition, with all the entrants meeting German Chancellor Angela Murkel in Berlin last week. Went over there last week, out of season, with a freak heatwave and temperatures in the 90s. It's a great place to visit, regardless of the football, and it's very photogenic.
