It's a squad game, you would expect another 5 from a big playing staff could step in and do an adequate job, which is clearly not the case at present.

Do we have the resources to allow the manager to do that? Is it poor squad building or is it just the way it is and we have to accept it and hope we can pick up the odd point until we get them back?

All the talk has been that we have a big squad with most positions covered, either we don't or we are banking on our strongest team being available for most games so changes aren't needed.
