mcgoo_84 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 According to the Chron on Monday we'd sold about 4000. Leaving 1700 to go on open sale. I'm pretty sure they've been selling from the centre outwards, as mates went early on & are central, I & another friend went Monday & Tuesday & got 121 & 128. Quote
RoyleArmy1994 Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Cheers, 129 was awful! I think there should be a membership system in place where fans gets points for games they go to including away games Quote
pk200 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 (edited) Ihmo lack of sales updates from club indicate we have plenty tickets left (1800+) to go on open sale but agree lack of info is not very fan friendly. Edited December 26, 2013 by pk200 Quote
RoyleArmy1994 Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Im going to queue for 7am tomorrow, I can deal with the cold but its the rain im praying stays away! :/ Quote

I said it all along, there will be plenty of tickets this time around so you will be fine. Going on the train this time as well mate, not bothering with a coach from Stalyvegas! Quote
opinions4u Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 must say oldham coverage a little poor re updates this time round , but unless your a seson ticket holder your not an oldham fan!!! I do think this really unfair criticism. The club announced on Wednesday last week that non-season ticket holders could fain priority for the Liverpool game by attending the home match with Colchester. They gave issued web site updates on: Wed 18th Thu 19th Fri 20th Mon 23rd It is clear that tickets are on open sale tomorrow. What else, in all seriousness, are they meant to have done? thats how its seems as always . i work shifts and dont live local and have a family.all i would like is an update on how many are left and then i know what time to leave home I've read on Twitter that around 4,500 have gone. So 1,200 left. But does that mean you should turn up at BP with a rent tonight, wander down at 9am, 11am, next Monday? I don't know. If the club officially published a figure of 4,500 what would you do differently to if they said 4,250 or 4,750? IIRC last time they sold out on the first day of open sale. That's the best guide I can give. If it was me I'd take a flask and get there early. And expect to spend several hours in a queue. travel and queue and then come home and go in the opposite direction to work. i make about 10 games a season am i not worthy? Nobody has said you're not worthy. They've said when tickets go on sale. If you want to be absolutely sure of getting one arrive early and queue. There's no other way. Quote
Frankly Mr Shankly Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I do think this really unfair criticism... Totally agree O4U. I've been quite a vocal critic of the club's off-field happenings in years gone by, but to be fair they've done this spot on. Naturally ST's did and certainly should get first dibs, and next in line is the vouchers for the non-ST holders who attended the Colchester match. This means that just about all the true fans, the fans that put the most in and ARE the most valued supporters were ensured a ticket and what's left - which is a healthy amount - get picked up on a first come, first served basis tomorrow onwards. Better still if you didn't know about this before the Colchester match, well, quite frankly you're a muppet and I have no sympathy for you. It was excellently communicated by the club so credit where credit is due. Now, if they can actually go a day or two without an infant-level spelling mistake on the website then I might even treat Broady to a pudding on a muffin. Quote
