BP1960 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 (edited) I was amazed today Tarkowski was kept on after suffering a heavy knock in the first half, his mobility was severely restricted, which may have resulted in Shrewsbury's second goal. He was kept on - yet Kusunga who looked fit and hadn't done much wrong was substituted !! Also Clarke -Harris was crocked before the substitutions, so why wasn't he replaced ? No wonder the team found it hard work practically playing with 9 men. Not good management in my view. Edited January 1, 2014 by BP1960 Quote
beag_teeets Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Wasn't Kusunga the player that was down in their box for a long time not long before he was subbed and didn't JCH get his knock and limp after all 3 subs were made? Quote

He played on though without looking in trouble, whereas Tarkowski was just a passenger. I noticed JCH took a bad knock before the substitutions, and that wasn't helped when he was caught again later. palmer1 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Clarke Harris was fine until the knock late on which left hi a passenger, all sub's had been made at that point. Tarky did look bad and I didn't expect to see him second half, he should have been subbed today.Kasunga went off as it was a head injury Quote

Diego_Sideburns Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Kusunga looked concussed. If so, he'll miss Liverpool under the F.A.'s regulations that say a player should not return to the pitch for five days after being substituted for a head injury. Quote

So we could go to Anfield without the 2 first choice centre backs as Tarkowski looked in a bad way. Who would we play there in that that case, also considering Byrne is cup tied ?
