Hands on
Does it mean that when the car park opens you will have to pay £5 just to visit the shop during the week. I suppose it won't be free because hospital visitors will soon get the hang of it and fill it.

I suppose it won't be free because hospital visitors will soon get the hang of it and fill it. There will be customers' spaces for the shop and other businesses, and the majority of spaces will be for day/night functions held in the OEC. Diego_Sideburns
North Stand car park will be in use on Saturday, with entrance from Hilbre Avenue. rammylatic
Anyone know if the bar in the new stand is only accessible for North Stand ST holders through the turnstiles? Have a mate who wants to meet in there pre-match but wants his usual seat in the Main Stand. Doubt he'll have any joy!

At the moment the bar is on the concourse, so is only accessible for those in the North Stand. When completed there will be a Supporters' Bar, accessible from outside by home and away fans. super_blue
Is this dine with simon wood actually on tomorrow then in the new stand? No. Pretty sure I Saw something on here saying it has been changed to a more low key affair in the sponsors lounge with a new date yet to be set! Diego_Sideburns
The base layer of tarmac on the car park appears to be almost completed.
Magic Mikey
What a pain in the arse it was on Saturday. Approaching the North Stand from the back of the Rocky you are within a few feet of the turnstiles, but fans have to walk around the perimeter of the car park to get in and out. I'm afraid it again shows a lack of consideration for the fans that a safe short cut wasn't arranged. Disappointed but not surprised.

Or going back there afterwards.

Its going to be raised at the fans meting on Monday with a suggestion form Jorvik that they put some signage up with arrows on it too

Not exactly difficult and likely to have changed by next game anyway. Better question would be will we ever be able to approach from chaddy end side without walking all the way around? And that's another suggestion, could they remove a fence panel for the game, but your right next home game it could be gone anyway.
Magic Mikey
Its going to be raised at the fans meting on Monday with a suggestion form Jorvik that they put some signage up with arrows on it too Thanks for that, it is routes through, rather than signs that are required. Monty's suggestion of a route around the back of the Chaddy would be very useful too. The club need to realise that fans approach the ground from all directions not just their sexy new car park. Magic Mikey
So you wanna walk through a working building site? I did, I just had to walk a long way round a fence for the privilege of entering said building site.
Diego_Sideburns
Even worse when approaching from clayton green. Or going back there afterwards. Suggestion for going to the Clayton Green after the game: Exit the North Stand at the SportsDirect Shop end, enter the Chaddy (hiding your colours) and exit it on Furtherwood Road. Probably not bother when we've Millwall at home.

Aarondo Westy
Only Oldham fans could moan about having to walk around a fence on route to the shiney new stand. Its open and nearly done be happy.
