Stevie_J
I've lost track of all this but can I check something, did people actually pay £675 for 100 Club season tickets? If so, has the club indicated that they'll receive some sort of partial refund?

No but they have been promised that something will be done (yeah right)

bozman
I was told a couple of days ago by someone in the building trade that, based on the materials currently being delivered to the site, he thinks that the whole thing is some way off being finished. Specifically there is still a lot of insulation yet to be installed. He did say that this does not necessarily mean that the boxes and hospitality areas won't be open soon, because he's also heard that different areas of the building are being finished "as and when the money comes in to do it". The fact that some areas were being plastered at weekend would support this. It could be that the hospitality areas will be prioritised and will open soon but the gym, medical facility etc will be completed a few months later. Diego_Sideburns
Still cannot bring myself to call it a club shop You are correct, because it's not a club shop, it's a SportsDirect shop. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/sports-direct-shop-opening-hours-2774390.aspx
ghostofcecere
The lights have been installed and switched on in the Broadway suite all week and there have been a number of contractors vehicles in the car park. Work is definitely continuing.
underdog
So I'm stuck with two outfit choices for next Friday winter wonderland party. Blue dress, with my gold sparkly high heels and gold matching hand bag Or Hard hat, hi-viz and matching steel two capped boots Hmm decisions, decision.....which one would my ass look bigger in?.... SavageTheBeast
Good news: First official function is set to go ahead tomorrow in one of the suites for 85 people. Don't wear your best clothes though you might get paint on them. Hahaha Edit changed from box to suite
bozman
That's good news. I would assume that is in the Broadway suite. Don't think you'd get 85 people in one of the exec boxes!
LaticsLegend
Don't worry, it's not like Corney repeatedly told us the funds are all there and it would be finished about 6 months ago.

bigfatjoe1
I reckon they only work when Corney's in town. As soon as he leaves they all :censored: off and have a right laugh down the pub.
underdog
It's absolutely ridiculous that you are still in limbo at this late stage!!! My fault on the slightly mis-leading post. It was confirmed about two weeks ago that the 1895 suite we were to be in on the 11th was not going to be ready, we are now in the broadway suite. I was just trying to make light of people's observations that there is still a helluva lot of work to be done even now
