Attendees: Rick Attwood, Janet Winterbottom, Chris Hill, Pete Newell, Craig Lavis and Tracy Wright 1 - Apologies. from Ian McCallister, Will Holding, Stacey Longsden and Barry Owen 2 - Minutes from last meeting. No action to be discussed. Minutes approved 3 - Message from the club: No messages 4 - Finances. Rick advised that he now has access to the funds via RBS. At the start of the season we gave a one of donation of £10k towards player George Elokobi. Currently have £4k in the account from the monthly donators and regular fund boosters such as easyfundraising, Playershare pledge, one off donations, old programme sales etc. Need to look at some marketing as George seems ot be popular signing. See next item. 5 - Marketing. Rick has arranged the with the club that every time our sponsored player scores, this will be announced over the tannoy, that scorer George Elokobi is sponsored by playershare. Rick announced a possible article in the Chronicle on George's popularity and how playershare contributed in bringing him in Possibility of an article on the official site too Promotional work for the Walsall game on 11.10.14: - Tracy Showed copies of the colour laminated A3 Posters that will be going up around the ground welcoming George, thanking the fans and how to join - Chris has produced playershare plus newsletter number two. Once approved, they will be handed out at the Walsall game - Generic page in the Programme, hopefully for the Walsall game or soon after. Picture of George and how to join Other suggestions: _ An evening with...George and Lee Johnson, at the Milan bar similar set up to an evening with Lanzoni last season. Aprox 60 tickets for pre or post Xmas. Rick to ask availability with Regards to George and Lee - Xmas party for all ages of supporters. When? poss after the Yeovil game on 13.12.14. Possible venue Lower house in Derker. Fee? voluntary on the door contributions. Players to attend - TBA - A Q&A evening with/meet the manager similar to the play house in Shaw / Royton Band club a few seasons ago. Poss about march time - Suggestion form Lee Johnson last season and fan OAFCTOM now. An x-factor/karoke/talent night. - Raffle tickets at the home games. Pay £1.00 and be entered for a prize draw Recruitment of our 100th standing order/one off donation member. Signed shirt/corporate hospitality for two to be funded by Tracy wright - Suggestion of buckets for loose change on match dates. Rick has the buckets - Footy cards? - Facebook auction of latics memoribilla Communication: As we are using various methods we have agreed that: Trust webpage, Facebook page, Twitter accounts to be looked after by Rick and Chris. OWTB will be looked after by Tracy Wright 6 - Fans Ideas/Suggestions/Questions: - See OAFCTOM suggestion for Karoke night - Craig Lavis - would like to know how many exiles/overseas members that we have contributing to playershare and how we can encourage more to join. Aww thanks, we are very pleased that Lee Johnson took on board that a signing with impact will hopefully do the advertising for this scheme and highlight and encourage more to join. It's a damn shame I have now bloody jinxed him when I started putting the posters up the other week saying, I hope he doesn't get injured.....sorry everyone. I briefly met him once but I just love the whole package that is big G....the way he interacts with the fans with that tweety thingy, the way he goes around and makes sures all the fans are clapped back in all stands after the game.
