Dave_Og
http://imgur.com/MR3SXuJ That should take you to a picture of the original OASIS banner which made its debut at Wembley in 1990 - recently emerged from a shoebox in East London

lookersstandandy
Superb. Some of you will be aware that Dave recently allowed me to borrow many of the original newsletters and a book chronicling OASIS's early days. One idea the original group had was to purchase inflatable palm tree's - this was during the era when many football clubs had an inflatable and we had adopted the yard dog - which could be displayed by members at games. Back in the day, it was cost prohibitive. Today however, the internet provides all manner of inflatable purchase opportunities at competitive prices.... Via Playershare http://www.laticsplayershare.easysearch.org.uk ...you can locate a selection on amazon... http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=inflatable+palm+tree+small ...think I might buy one! JoeP
Who made the flag? Could be wrong, but I don't recall many of the old-schoolers having an artistic side!

Nothing wrong with your memory Joe. It was a friend of Jon Graham; she was a tutor at an art college; I have a vague idea that she has been quite successful as an artist - maybe it's worth a fortune....
