Sad news indeed, I'm sure Ambrose over egged it a bit when he wrote the book but the 101st Airborne did see a hell of a lot of action. - Having said that - "In his autobiography, Beyond Band of Brothers: Memoirs of Major Richard Winters, Richard Winters referred to Ronald Speirs and Guarnere as "natural killers".
