cornishblue
woeful goalscoring record 12 goals in 56 apps 1 in 4.5 game striker Over the course of a season would be a return of about 12-15 goals. Worth a punt in my eyes as i can't see any other forward / winger getting close to that tally who is in the current squad (apart from Forte and he was a gamble when he came here) Only 21 years old so hopefully with game time, experiance at 1st team level and confidence he will get better. NewBlue
I'm absolutely sick of having to judge potential transfer targets from Youtube videos of them playing in front of one man and his dog against Dover reserves
HarryBosch
Mr Ugwu obviously ticks all the right boxes:- Played for Yeovil - Yes Played in Scotland - Yes There seems to be a recurring trend in the players that Lee brings in - can we find a good one please this time. Like Kelly, or Jones, or Forte, or Johnson, or James Wilson, or Mills?

the_mighty_bosh
Stephen Bywater has just had his contract cancelled at Millwall. Oldham-born 'keeper, possible signing? Edit: SAV was just too quick for me! Edited January 14, 2015 by the_mighty_bosh
OnchanJules
Quote from the Dunfermline manager: “Gozie had scored goals and had done well in games, other games not so well. “He was a wee bit inconsistent for me and it was another opportunity to free up some money which could be used elsewhere". oldhamoafc
Wolves have just signed Afobe from arsenal. Whilst that weakens Mk Dons... It also puts Leon Clarke further down the pecking order.

Slightly worrying that he's not considered good enough for a third-tier Scottish team...

disjointed
Bywater had a stormer for gillingham when he played against us i would give a contract till end of the season at least For some reason I dislike Bywater, possibly when we played against him he just wound me up. Clifford
For some reason I dislike Bywater, possibly when we played against him he just wound me up. If you ever meet him you'll think the same. Once told me he was the best English keeper behind David James. Poor lad.

josh_latics
Reckon there's any chance of Wilkinson coming back this window? He's not played since they signed Eidur and Heskey, so he's probably 5th or 6th choice now...

I agree but think we'll see the usual make do and mend attitude come to the fore now the play offs are disappearing over the horizon. deyres42
5 points off 5th with a game in hand. All our momentum has gone, so hard to turn that back, teams around us getting their act together and will be looking to strengthen, can't see us doing the same, love to be proven wrong though. Every team has a dip in form in the season if this is ours then the play offs are well within our reach.
